In E2Packman mainly two units from the Smart Hardware Department of the Digital Systems Division are contributing: Sensor systems and Quantum Technology and Semiconductors.

Role

Thermo-mechanical and mixed mode TCAD model simulation and reliability testing and verification. Investigating power electronics packaging solutions for rail traction and by using additive manufacturing. Contribute to process development for further miniaturization of gas sensor system.

Key Contribution

Validated test protocols and PHM integration for novel power electronics packaging solutions. Prototype solutions for power packages using Additive manufacturing. Contributing to further sensor miniaturization.
