Melexis

Melexis is a fabless semiconductor company, which means that our main industrial processes are package and chip design, probing and testing of integrated circuits (ICs). Other production related processes are outsourced to partners. Role
Melexis serves as an industrial partner leading use case S1.A on Fan-out wafer level packaging technology for sensor systems in the category of MEMS and sensors.
Key Contribution
Besides leading the use case Melexis will contribute in the detailed tasks from requirements definition for equipment and processes onwards focusing on heterogenous intergation. Also design flow with coordination of fabrication of testing vehicles & characterization and simulations is foreseen together with the partners.
In another task Melexis is involved in encapsulation material development also for MEMS applications.
