Besi Netherlands B.V. with the headquarters and one of the innovation centers of Besi in Duiven, Netherlands, serve as the epicenter for cutting-edge backend packaging equipment.
This facility houses the packaging division of Besi and boasts a comprehensive research infrastructure. It includes dedicated R&D systems for both development and sample production, state-of-the-art analysis equipment, and advanced prototyping capabilities. Significant advancements, such as those spearheaded by the E2PackMan project, find their origins at our Duiven site. These innovations are not only conceived here but are also meticulously executed, laying the solid foundation for the future of packaging equipment.
Role
Besi Netherlands B.V. role in the project is to be a provider of processes and equipment for advanced packaging. Besi supports on novel integration and packaging development. Contributing with (wafer level) encapsulation and saw singulation processes, and sample realization. Finally, Besi Netherlands will further develop encapsulation (molding) and saw singulation processes and equipment.
Key Contribution
Packaging technology development for the semiconductor industry, in process and equipment, and apply and proof them by realization of demonstration samples.
